Course description

Dr Michael Cascianelli is a school principal and a researcher. Michael is currently the academic principal of Beijing Enlighten School, an all-through IB World School that he founded in August 2020 in Beijing. During his career as a school leader, Michael worked in The Netherlands, Italy, Thailand and China, where he has outstandingly impacted the diverse learning ecosystems that he led. As a researcher, he has shaped his career at the University of Cambridge for his Master's and PhD in dialogic discourse, leadership, giftedness and intelligence.

Michael firmly believes in the power of educational transformation to empower individuals to express themselves and make a change in this world through academic excellence, social-emotional learning and rigorous research commitment.
